Welcome to FosterDogs, a support group for people who foster dogs in their homes. All breeds and mixes are welcome. This is a supportive environment and flaming will not be tolerated. Topics include:

• Preparing your home, family and pets before your foster dog arrives

• Obedience training, remedial socialization, and behavioral problem solving
• Finding and screening potential adopters
• Addressing common (and not so common) medical issues

Please stay on topic. Posts about animal rights, virus warnings, and widely crossposted jokes or stories are not permitted. Due to the large numbers of crossposts sent to the list, we now limit any transport/rescue/foster requests to those in which our members are actually involved, rather than just crossposting.
