I recently emailed Horse TV & the response below came back to me today.
I urge everyone to write to them requesting this channel be offered on
either Dish Network, Direct TV &/or your local TV stations in your area.
Dear fellow horse person and equestrian enthusiast --
I would like to personally thank you for your recent email about receiving
HorseTV and apologize for any delay in responding. It is so encouraging
to know that so many people are interested in receiving the 24/7 HorseTV
Channel when it is launched later this year. We have been overwhelmed
with correspondence requesting information about our current status and
updates on the planned launch. (Current broadcast info at end of email.)
As you may know, on April 26th we launched the 24 hour-a-day HorseTV
“i-Channel” on the Internet. With full access via monthly subscription,
this enables thousands of horse people to watch HorseTV who can’t
receive HorseTV through traditional television methods. Broadband
users will be able to watch with a “full” screen viewing experience!
Please visit http://www.horse-tv.com/ for more information.
We are in discussions with satellite and cable providers at this time for
“carriage” on their distribution systems. A CONTINUOUS STREAM OF
REQUESTS FOR THE NETWORK FROM POTENTIAL VIEWERS WILL
REALLY HELP TO CONVINCE YOUR PROVIDER TO OFFER THE
HORSETV CHANNEL ONCE IT IS LAUNCHED!
