I barely use this yahoo group much due to my busy schedule but I like
to try to check in once in a while and post some new things.
Our 501c3 is still pending but hopefully we should finally get it in
few months. This will help the rescue very much.
We have some adoptable dogs and cats in our rescue. They can be seen
on Petfinder. We have five adoptable adorable kittens as well.
Dogs available for adoptions are:
Lexie, a beautiful deaf american pit bull terrier (possible american
bulldog mix) that's 1 and half years old. She cannot be in homes
with VERY small dogs, caged animals, birds, or cats. But gets along
great with med to big dogs.
Nora, an amstaff, four years old, housebroken, crate trained, is
great with people, but no small animals either and she's best in a
home where she's the only pet. She's okay with some dogs, but if a
dog snap at her, it will not be a good thing. So ideally, the home
for her would be a home where she's the only pet.
Phoenix, a deaf catahoula (breed that's common in the south after all
he did come all the way up here from GA to keep him from being put to
sleep) mxi. He's one year old. Very playful.
We have five adult cats waiting for their forever homes.. Oreo,
Milky Way, and Snickers.. all three are brothers and are all
domestic short haired cats, black and white colored like cows.
They're all neutered, and up to date with their shots. They are a
bit shy with new people but after a day or two of becoming
comfortable with you are very affectionate.
Meow is a very beautiful domestic med/long haired cat, black and
white, four years old. Just gorgeous! She was surrendered by her
owners because the couple are dying of cancer. She has her front
claws declawed.
Oliver is a sweet timid cat toward other cats, a grey (with some
tabby coloring) doemstic med/long haired cat. Front claws declawed.
And then there are 5 kittens available for adoption.. they're all
female, domestic short haired cats (one is med haired), and spayed.
So please feel free to spread the word to anyone you know that may be
interested in adding a precious furbaby to their family.
Again, thank you all for your support!
