Bob, I just want to tell you how wonderful it is to hear that you take such good
care of your boy. Not everyone does.
And look at it this way after his treatment is over and he is healthy again he
will have lots of long walks and play with your brothers lab. <G>

Well, spent half the day at the two vet offices. The Holistic vet is doing
all the blood work, the stool and urine test, and the exam, as well as whatever
treatment is decided. I had to go to a second vet for the xrays. They ALSO took
blood for the heartworm test. Poor baby got stuck THREE times today!!!!! I'd
told them I was only there for xrays. But somebody didn't listen or wrote
something down wrong. The holistic vet is suppose to email me all the results
sometime this evening. Then I'll make an appointment for treatment. It's funny,
I know it's hard times financially on lots of people, but BOTH vets went on and
on about this test is this much, that much, treatment is this much or add that.
I'm lucky that I have some money saved up, so this isn't a big hit, but even if
I didn't, unless I was unemployed it would get done. I could never just have him
put down. But then, that's how I got him. Someone turned him loose because he
was sick, or he got
loose
and got sick. Anyway, cost me $800 bucks to get healthy again. I'll let
everyone know what happens. Not looking forward to trying and 'keep the dog
quiet'. He likes LONG walks, and chasing my brothers lab around!!!!! Later
Bob
