Welcome to the Great Lakes Kangal Club list ! This list has been established for current members of the Great Lakes Kangal Club.

The purpose of this list is to provide a gathering place for the GLKC members. We invite members to discuss GLKC upcoming events, club issues, and any club business of importance to them.

Our goal is to provide a user friendly environment where we can all gather to learn, chat, share ideas, and take an active part in the lives of our dogs. We are a recreational Kangal Club.

The Great Lakes Regional Kangal club is dedicated to the enjoyment and preservation of the Turkish Kangal Dog, a flock guardian from the Sivas-Kangal region of Turkey. Kangal Dogs are beautiful, powerful, and loyal. Kangals are considered a Turkish National Treasure and as such are to be preserved and protected.
