Hello folks;
My beginner hives arrive in a few days. I plan to order ( if not sold
out) some Russian Packages this weekend. When growing up in upstate New
York on the farm I searched out bee trees, and found them, in
the "woods". Can I keep my hives here in the Ohio woods? Just having a
hard time finding others on the web who keep their bees in a wooded
area. Just wondering if it's OK ? My experience shows them in trees in
the woods.
Like to hear what you think? Do I need to ask farmers etc locally to
place them elsewhere? Just wanted to keep them on my property. I want
to try and make this happen this year.
Regards,
Alan
