This is a list that is dedicated to breeding pure bred Cavies or Guinea Pigs for show (all breeds and all club's standards accepted).
Discussion topics generally include genetics, showing, general experiences at your caviary (health, feeding, caging, medicating, birthing, and euthanasia).
The idea is to swap stories, get help with problems, make friends who share the same interest and most importantly LEARN. Debating, challenging ideas and practices is encouraged.
Although many listers are ACBA/ARBA members/judges/staff this list in NOT affiliated with either organization nor is the ACBA/ARBA responsible for any posts generated here.
We encourage the advertisement of shows, stock wanted/for sale as well as other cavy related products.
Anyone, breeder or not, who wishes to join is welcome, but please bear in mind that the list's focus is on the show quality cavy. If you are interested in a more pet related list some can be recommended.
If you do not agree with the practice of breeding DO NOT join this list. Flaming will not be tolerated. I reserve the right to terminate the subscriptions of those who do not respect other members and the goals of the list.
