Feeding dry BP doesn't cause choke anymore than feeding any dry food and it doesn't rupture their stomachs when it is eaten, either. That's an old wives tale....

Well I have had personal experiences with it causing a horse to choke thats only why I suggest not feeding it dried I have used it with several rescue horses...
