"Dingo" is a male LAWSON'S Bearded Dragon (pogona henrylawsonii) - not
an Inland Bearded Dragon, which is the sort that you find in pet
stores or with glorious color morphs. Lawson's don't have the
gorgeous morph color, but they DO have one thing going for them... a
lot of dragon with a maximum length of 12". Perfect for the dragon
lover who doesn't have a lot of space... a 20L will keep him VERY
happy.
Born 8/07, guaranteed pure, not a Vittikin (Inland/Lawson's cross). I
bought two, one needs medical care, so I need to part with the other
to keep money in the vet account. Paid $150 plus shipping, asking
$120 plus shipping. Photos in LDragon folder.

I have 2 juvenile Chinese Water Dragons that I took as part of a trade
that are just to small for the habitat that I built. You can see
pictures of the habitat in the photo section. This thing is huge and I
find that the water dragons have to be taken out to be fed, and I just
don't don't have a habitat small enough to put them in due to most of
my habitats are well over 6 feet long. If you have some fake vines or
a piece of large drift wood your not using and would like to trade I
could really use these 2 items for my reptile/koi habitat. These guys
are not for sale because I didn't pay for them so please just trades.
I just want them to go to a good home.
I am looking for several pairs of tree frogs for an enclosure I just
built. I am looking to trade a 4 foot red tailed boa for them. Had an
escape artist escape and now the wife says he must go.He is eating one
large rat a week for me F/T what ever he isn't picky, he'd probably
take a jumbo but haven't pushed that yet on him. I am interested
Brazilian and Vietnamese giant tree frogs, red eyed tree frogs, reed
tree frogs what ever. The habitat I built is 60 in long X 40 in deep X
48 in tall with a 40 gallon pond with working fountain in the middle
of it for humidity. If you have any tree frogs or small ground frogs
with moderate adoption fee's or are willing to trade for the red tail
boa please let me know. Thank You
I have a male ball Python who is a great snake but my breeding of red
tail boas has interfered with his daily interaction. I feel that he
would be better off in a new home. He has never hissed or tried to
strike at me even when he is feeding. He is a wonderful snake but I
feel that I am neglecting him. I am asking an adoption fee of $125.00
with his cage and every thing that I have for him. If you don't need
his cage I will adopt him out for $75.00 thats way less than what I
payed for him I just want him to go to a good home where he'll get the
attention he deserves. His cage is a 45 gallon tank with screen and
lights and a big water bowl. He must be picked up because I cannot
drive so please don't ask that I meet you a 2 hour ride away. If your
coming from a distance then I will take that into consideration and
lower the adoption fee just to secure a good home for him. Thank You

I have a male red tail boa named henry that needs a good home. He has
just come out of hybernation. He doesn't come with a habitat or
anything. I am asking a $100.00 adoption fee for him. He was a breeder
that I had from about a year ago when I was breeding but then my son
wanted a snake and lost intrest and I have since gotten out of
breeding. If intrested please let me know. Thank You
Have everything I need, just the snake. Can take up to a 10 footer,
somewhere around there. I hav an 11 foot green burm that we rescued,
fell in love with him, and want another. Willing to pay reasonable
adoption fee.
Thanks!
Sorry I forgot to let people know where I was located. I tried to add a
photo but it keeps telling me there is an unknown error. So if you'd
like to see a picture of it just shoot me an e-mail and I'll send you a
picture of it.
I built this habitat for a guy and I was almost finished with it when
he called me and told me he couldn't pay for it. It is built out of 3/8
inch polycarbonate and is roughly 4 1/2 feet tall by 2 1/2 feet by 2
1/2 feet. It was built to house some type of very large gecko that this
gentleman had. I know that the gecko was about the size of my forearm
and I am 6'3". I am looking to trade it for anything that I can use for
my snake habitat that I just built for my red tail boas. I am intrested
in heating, lighting, basically anything that I can use to keep them
happy or I will sell it out right for $125 for just the cost of the
material. Please contact me for pictures of it. Oh and the habitat is
completly furnished all you have to do is add your beloved reptile and
light bulbs. The fixtures are already there and there hard wired with
seperate light switches. Thank You
For the two new members who posted a dating site please stop.
This is a reptile site and not a dating service.
If your interested in buying, selling or trading reptiles we would
love to have you as a member.
If your looking for a pick up, I am asking you to please leave.
If you continue to post friendship, dating or anything non-reptile you
will be removed from this site.
Thank You

Read about the proposal first before acting. If such a proposal goes
into law this would be a huge impact on the hobby as a whole.
Folks this is SERIOUS!!!! US Fish & Wildlife is proposing a ban of ALL
SPECIES in the genera of Python, Boa & Eunectes (latin for Anaconda).
If this is passed, it will ban all interstate trade (that means buying
& selling!) or importation of those genera (genera = plural for
"genus") in the private sector.
Eunectes = Anacondas
Boa = includes ALL of the Boa constrictor species...yes, your
Colombian boas, your red-tails, Argentine, Bolivian,
Brazilian...anything whose scientific name starts with Boa constrictor...
And folks, the genus "Python" encompasses the following:
Ball pythons
Angolan pythons
Bloods & short-tails
Burms/rocks
Retics
Timors
This is SERIOUS! This is FOR REAL!!! It is time for us ALL to have a
voice & make our feelings known in a polite, respectful yet FIRM way!
I know linking to other sites is usually a no-no, but there is an
entire write-up on this at Pet Hobbyist:
The link to pethobbist was given as:
http://www.pethobbyist.com/sitenews/...hons-Boas.html
But when I clicked on the link all I found was:
Sorry.....
The Page You Requested Could Not Be Found
If this goes through, herpetoculture as we know it is going to
RADICALLY change, and NOT for the better! No more big reptile shows,
because out-of-state vendors wouldn't be able to attend. No more
buying your snakes from a breeder out of state. No more herpetoculture
as it is right now!
The time to act is NOW!!!!!!!

Injurious Wildlife Species; Review of Information Concerning

Notification Notification
We, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service or We), are reviewing
available biological and economic information on constrictor snakes in
the Python, Boa and Eunectes genera for possible addition to the list
of injurious wildlife under the Lacey Act. An injurious wildlife
listing would prohibit the importation into, or transportation
between, States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto
Rico, or any territory or possession of the United States by any
means, without a permit. Permits may be issued for scientific,
medical, educational, or zoological purposes …

Feds Move To Ban Pythons & Boas
The U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service has made a significant move towards
banning the importation and interstate transport of Boa Constrictors
and Pythons in the United States.
Quietly published in the Federal Register, the agency is accepting
public comments until April 30th. If enacted this will devastate an
already hard hit industry, dealing a fatal death blow to a large
number of businesses dependent on this segment of the industry and
drying up the supply of these pets to pet owners across the United States.
Noted herpetologist, author, former zoo keeper, and one of the leading
private researchers and breeders of pythons in the United States,
David Barker, had this to say...
This is the formal notification and request for public comments
regarding the intention of USF&W Service to place ALL snakes in the
genera Boa, Python, and Eunectes on the Injurious Wildlife List of the
Lacey Act.
If enacted as regulation, this will ban the importation of said snakes
into the USA , and ban all interstate transportation of said snakes.
There is a request made for public input and we feel it will be very
important that all keepers with an interest in boas and pythons make
written response before 30 April.
This is VERY important. Don't take this lightly.
Once the importation and inter-state transport has been banned, there
will be a rapid exodus of breeders of these species, and eventually
they will disappear from the marketplace along with a significant
number of businesses and jobs. Pet owners will feel the pinch as dry
goods suppliers and caging manufacturers stop producing products for
that segment of the hobby, and eventually it will be impossible to
obtain a new pet boa or python.
To review the USF & W Service proposal, please look at the following
document.

LACEY ACT OF 1900
http://www.fws.gov/contaminants/ANS/ANSInjurious.cfm
The Lacey Act (pdf file) is a law that dates back to the early 1900's
and is one of the oldest wildlife related laws on the books. Under the
Lacey Act, the Secretary of the Interior is authorized to regulate the
importation and transport of species, including offspring and eggs,
determined to be injurious to the health and welfare of humans, the
interests of agriculture, horticulture or forestry, and the welfare
and survival of wildlife resources of the U.S. Wild mammals, wild
birds, fish, mollusks, crustaceans, amphibians, and reptiles are the
only organisms that can be added to the injurious wildlife list.
