Membership is restricted. Requests are approved by the owner. Persons seeking membership should provide a brief explanation for their interest in the list. New members are moderated until they have established themselves as good list citizens by the nature of their posts. Members share experiences and ask questions regarding natural health and healing for birds. Discussions include modalities(methods) such as: diet and nutrition, homeopathy, herbs, flower essences, energy healing and more.

Although listmembers are not required to accept for themselves the validity of every Complimentary and Alternative (CAM) healing method, all listmembers are expected to tolerate and respect the beliefs of others. Making pointed and disparaging remarks about healing modalities or impugning the motives of practitioners are behaviors considered inappropriate and counterproductive for this list.
