Mary and Melody have offered great advice...here's my experience with
dominance therapy:
My Angelhare Pasta, aka Attila the Bun, was similar to your bully
bunny. I rescued her from a humane society in the Catskills where I
volunteered and she had been abused. She would jump up to bite my
knees and attack delicate areas when I did yoga. I did dominance
therapy with her and today she accompanies me to classrooms during
Authors' Day, entertaining up to 50 preschoolers with her antics and
sweet disposition.
I read about dominance therapy on a now-defunct list. Here's how it
works: In the wild, the more dominant rabbit lies across the
shoulders of the more submissive rabbit. What you essentially do is
become the dominant rabbit by laying your hand atop the rabbit's head
and slowly moving it down to the shoulders, where you apply gentle
pressure for about 15 seconds. Do this often throughout the day...up
to 20 times or more. It took Pastahead about 2 weeks to finally get
the message and to stop biting.
Good luck and keep us posted.
Peaceful wishes,
Nancy
