House Rabbit owners and lovers, please feel free to join this list about the health and care of our favorite pet, the house rabbit. New rabbit owners welcome with your questions, as well as experienced rabbit owners and rescuers. Please feel free to join in the discussion or lurk and learn.

Discussion should be limited to topics about house rabbits and their health and care. No discussion of breeding or showing will be allowed. Breeders and other fanciers are welcome, however we ask that they stick to the issues of health and care of house rabbits. Personal stories welcome.


Please do not join if your only intention is to debate or to look for someone to take an unwanted rabbit. These such people will be removed.


Off topic information can be shared in a P.S. at the end of an on-topic post. (IE a birthday, special event, etc).

- No solicitations of items for sale, or unwanted rabbits. - Individuals or rescuers looking to advertise rabbits in need of homes may list them on the first day of each month. Please limit your listing to 10 rabbits, and give the full contact information for the shelter or rescue which houses the rabbits you advertise. - Absolutely no discussion of purpousful breeding will be tolerated.
