For eagerly becoming a foster home, doing education events and
holding a yard sale

Educator of the Year: Kathy King
For assisting with several ed events, running the Make Mine Chocolate Campaign,

the Starbucks Photo display, answering HRN emails, posting articles on Craigslist,
and more....

Foster Home Support (a.k.a. The Pooper Scooper Award): Ellie Hulse
For spending so much time cleaning bunny cages at Suzanne's and
doing a great job at it.

Volunteer of the Year: Christine Bennett
For all her work on the newsletters, bun sitting, logo redesign and
hosting a yard sale.

Scooter is a sweet girl from the Williamsport rescue last summer. She is a Californian rabbit (meaning she has the dark ears, nose, paws and tail) and looks just like a cute teddy bear. She is a "larger" girl, weighing in at close to ten pounds. That just means there is more bun to love. Scooter is a very gentle rabbit that likes to be petted. She can be a little shy at first. Our next volunteers meeting will be held in October. The date and location will be announced soon.

Mark your calendars to attend Tufts Veterinary School of Medicine Open House in Grafton on September 10th, and Pet Rock at Quinsigamond College in Worcester on September11th.
