Many of you have supported HRN by sending in your
Shaw's receipts, which has been a great fundraiser for us.
Shaw's has sent us a letter stating that they are changing the
receipt collection program. This is both good and bad.
The current program runs through the end of the month.
We must mail in all our receipts by Feb. 28. So please mail
any receipts you have to HRN by Feb. 20 to allow us time to process
them and mail them in.
The new program starts in March. Instead of mailing in receipts,
they are now linking organizations to your Shaw's Rewards
Card. So no more collecting receipts and mailing them in --
we will automatically get checks. The bad news is that
only purchases on Tues., Wed. and Thurs. will count. Other
days of the week won't. (So shop in the middle of the week!)
It is important to note that in order for HRN to benefit,
you must sign up on the Shaw's website and link HRN to your
Rewards Card.
To sign up for the new program, go to
www.shaws.com/neighborhoodrewards
Click on the link for Shoppers and enter your Rewards
Card number and your phone number.
Next, click on My Account, then Add an Organization.
Enter HRN's number: 49001018209.
If you don't have our number handy, you can click on
"Find an Organization." Just enter MA for the state -- they
have Woburn misspelled, so if you enter the city it won't
find us (We am trying to get that fixed).
Click Add, and then click on My Account to verify that
you see HRN listed.
