Recently HRN was lucky enough to receive some press coverage.

Do you know that HRN has a newsletter and membership? We have a newsletter,
Rabbit Tracks, which we publish three times a year containing articles
on rabbit care and behavior. All HRN members receive the newsletter,
either by regular mail or a pdf via email. All membership money is used to
fund our organization, where our primary expense is veterinary bills. You
can view old versions of our newsletter online at
http://www.rabbitnetwork.org/
Have you considering an HRN membership? If you've had a membership, is it
time to renew your House Rabbit Membership?

This month's Bunny of the Month is Captain Mooncake! Captain Mooncake
has earned himself many nicknames since his arrival, he is known as
Moonie, Angelface, Binky Boy, Fuzzbutt, Cap'n, 'the Captain', and, of
course, Captain McBinkerson Mooncake. He bounces around the house with
purpose and conviction. He is always on some sort of important mission
and is in a hurry to complete it. Don't get the impression that he is
high strung, though, he is super mellow and easy going! I think a lot
of his personality is due to his gratefulness. He knows he has a good
life. He was rescued from a really bad situation in upstate New York.
The minute he got here -- he was clearly aware of his second chance at
the good life. This boy is so happy! My mom doesn't understand why he
hasn't been adopted yet. She considers him to be the ultimate bunny -
an exemplar. Moonie is even more than that. He is perfect. He doesn't
chew my laptop cable, he doesn't try to eat my books, he eats every
vegetable -- even if wilted a little. My own bunnies don't have any of
those qualifications! Moonie is an absolute angel. Captain really needs
a home of his own. He would love to have tons of playtime. He wouldn't
mind living with a cat. I think he has a crush on my cat - unrequited
unfortunately. He'd be fine with a family too. Please check out his blog
entries (and video). He is a hunky charmer.
As always, thank you for your support of the buns!
