They make great holiday gifts!
Our Flatbread Benefit night was a huge success, raising $3,719 for the
rabbits! Thank you to everyone who attended our Flatbread fundraiser
and to all of the corporations and people who donated items for the
auction. We would also like to thank the Flatbread Company for hosting
and donating pizza money to us.
Petfinder is once again holding a voting contest for your favorite
shelter. Earlier this year we won $1,000. Help the House Rabbit Network
win again! Vote every day! Ask your friends to vote too! Visit the
Animal Rescue Site (link below), choose HRN for your shelter name,
MA for the state, and then vote for us! Don't forget to enter the
animal name on the second page. Here is the link for voting:

October's Buns of the Month are Chanel and Cashmere! These beautiful
girls have been with the House Rabbit Network for over a year now.
Their foster parents aren’t sure how they have been overlooked for so
long! The girls have very unique and different personalities, but they
get along like the best of friends. The only thing about them that is
the same is that both are mostly white with dark ears. Chanel has
brown ears, a brown nose, and brown feet that make her look like she is
wearing shoes. Cashmere has black ears, some black spots on her back
and dark black raccoon eyes. Chanel is very soft with fur like a Rex
and she really enjoys being pet and is very playful. Cashmere has big
fluffy fur that she keeps very clean. Cashmere is a little more shy,
but once she sees Chanel getting some attention, she gets interested
and hops on over. They love to cuddle together and are constantly
playing together, running together and hopping over each other. They
both love their hay and enjoy their nightly salads. The girls have
excellent litterbox habits. The girls anxiously await their own family
– are you that special family?
