I-24 is in the eastern United States. It runs (diagonally) from Interstate 57 (10 miles south of Marion, Illinois) to Chattanooga, Tennessee, at Interstate 75. I-24 makes up the majority of a high-traffic corridor between St. Louis, Missouri, and Atlanta, Georgia. This corridor utilizes Interstate 64 and Interstate 57 west of I-24, and Interstate 75 east of I-24.
For help with transport of rescued animals along the I-24 corridor, posts must include the originating city/state, destination city/state and date of run FIRST in the subject line - any other qualifiers or information may only FOLLOW these required 3 items. The request shall contain the URL of the responsible rescue and the Starting point and Destination of the run within the first paragraph.
Posts for transportation must either travel the I-24 corridor or cross it at a leg change.
I-24 runs through Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia. If your run does not go through these states along the I-24 corridor, do not post it here!
No unaltered pets will be transported to a forever home unless a veterinarian attests that there is some medical reason not to alter the pet before transport.
