Description

I-27 commonly referred to as the Canyon E-Way in Amarillo, Texas, is an intrastate interstate highway located entirely within the state of Texas in the United States. It goes from Lubbock, Texas, at U.S. Route 87 to Amarillo, at Interstate 40.
US-87 in Texas runs from Stratford to Port Lavaca and includes the entire length of I-27.
For help with transport of rescued animals along the I-27/US-87 corridor, posts must include the originating city/state, destination city/state and date of run FIRST in the subject line - any other qualifiers or information may only FOLLOW these required 3 items. The request shall contain the URL of the responsible rescue and the Starting point and Destination of the run within the first paragraph.

Posts for transportation must either travel the I-27/US-87 corridor, or cross it at a leg change. If your run does not go through Texas along the I-27/US-87 corridor, do not post it here!

No unaltered pets will be transported to a forever home unless a veterinarian attests that there is some medical reason not to alter the pet before transport.

No photos are permitted in the posts -- if you want the transporters to see the dogs, please use a link to a webpage where they can be seen.

No "Pets Need Homes" posts allowed -- no cross-posting of petfinder lists -- this is a transport only list.

No flaming, no petitions, no DNA, no soliciting, no inspirational messages.

Home visit requests within 35 miles of the I-27/US-87 corridor will be permitted.
