Interstate 45 (abbreviated I-45) is an intrastate interstate highway located entirely within the state of Texas. Its southern end is in Galveston, Texas, (where the mile count begins) at the intersection of State Highway 87 and Spur 342; its northern end is in Dallas, Texas, at Interstate 30. (Interstate 345, an unmarked interstate, seamlessly carries traffic from the I-45 terminus at I-30 to US 75's southern terminus at Spur 366.)

For help with transport of rescued animals along the I-45 corridor, requests for help must include the originating city/state, destination city/state and date of run FIRST in the subject line - any other qualifiers or information may only FOLLOW these required 3 items. The request shall contain the URL of the responsible rescue and the Starting point and Destination of the run within the first paragraph.

Posts for transportation must either travel the I-45 corridor, or cross it at a leg change. If your run does not go through Texas along the I-45 corridor, do not post it here!

No unaltered pets will be transported to a forever home unless a veterinarian attests that there is some medical reason not to alter the pet before transport.

No photos are permitted in the posts -- if you want the transporters to see the dogs, please use a link to a webpage where they can be seen.
