Description
Interstate 70 (abbreviated I-70) is a long interstate highway in the United States that runs from Interstate 15 about a mile from Cove Fort, Utah, to a Park and Ride in Baltimore, Maryland. It was the first Interstate Highway Project started in the United States. I-70 approximately traces the path of U.S. Route 40 (and also the old National Road) east of the Rocky Mountains. West of the Rockies, the route of I-70 was cobbled together from a variety of sources.
For help with transport of rescued animals along the I-70 corridor, requests for help must contain the URL of the responsible rescue and must identify the Starting point and Destination of the run within the first paragraph.
Posts for transportation must either travel the I-70 corridor, or cross it at a leg change.
I-70 runs through Utah, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, West Virginia northern Panhandle, Pennsylvania, Maryland. If your run does not go through these states along the I-70 corridor, do not post it here!
No unaltered pets will be transported to a forever home unless a veterinarian attests that there is some medical reason not to alter the pet before transport.
No photos are permitted in the posts -- if you want the transporters to see the dogs, please use a link to a webpage where they can be seen.
No "Pets Need Homes" posts allowed -- no cross-posting of petfinder lists -- this is a transport only list.
Home visit requests within 35 miles of the I-70 corridor will be permitted.
No DNAs, no flaming, no petitions, no solicitations, no inspirational messages.
