I-71 is an Interstate Highway in the Great Lakes/Midwestern region. Its southern terminus is at an interchange with Interstate 64 and Interstate 65 (the Kennedy Interchange) in Louisville, Kentucky. Its northern terminus is at an interchange with Interstate 90 in Cleveland, Ohio. I-71 is a major east-west route for cross-country traffic. It links I-80 and I-90 to I-70, and ultimately (via I-65) links to I-40.
Posts for transportation must either travel the I-71 corridor or cross it at a leg change.

I-71 runs through Kentucky and Ohio. If your run does not go through these states along the I-71 corridor, do not post it here!

For help with transport of rescued animals along the I-71 corridor, requests must include the originating city/state, destination city/state and date of run FIRST in the subject line - any other qualifiers or information may only FOLLOW these required 3 items. The request shall contain the URL of the responsible rescue and the Starting point and Destination of the run within the first paragraph.

No unaltered pets will be transported to a forever home unless a veterinarian attests that there is some medical reason not to alter the pet before transport.
