Orri followed me tonight when I led him out to pasture. So that's
twice he's been following since I did a bit of chasing again after he
started trying to be the leader last night. Interesting.

Tonight I put a Best Friends break-away halter/grazing muzzle on Gat.
I hated to do it, I feel like a meany, but she's getting too chubby
and if it helps cut down on her weight she'll be better off for it.

I watched her in the pasture for a while to see how she would do and
she doesn't seem to have trouble getting grass, but I do think she's
annoyed that she can't get enough grass because she's shaking her head
(could be the flies too) and walking around a lot. If she still has
it on in the morning then I think it will be a big help.

On my way out to the barn tonight I saw a beautiful red fox out past
the poo pile--he ran when he saw me.
