If we reunite only one dog with its owner, this list will have served its purpose.
This is a nationwide group to be used for posting alerts for missing dogs throughout the United States and Canada similar to the way Amber Alerts are used to help find missing or abducted children.

Include in your post:
CITY AND STATE IN SUBJECT LINE!!!!!
The body of your message should contain:
Contact information such as phone numbers so you can be contacted off-list if needed in the event the dog is seen.
Critical information: dog's name, markings/description, microchipped, etc.

You may include with your message photo "attachments" so that readers will be able to see the dog within the context of your message and refer back to it.

INAPPROPRIATE posts (spam/solicitations/advertising) will be REJECTED and the poster removed/banned.
