Mission Statement K9KIDNEYS is a high volume list for owners of dogs suffering from one or more forms of kidney disorders,e.g. Canine Kidney Disease, Acute or Chronic Renal Failure, Juvenile Renal Dysplasia, Glomerulonephritis, Renal Insufficiency, PLN, PLE. The emphasis is on kidney treatment options, kidney diets for dogs and other necessary “tips and tricks” in the management of the renal dog. It is designed to be a comforting and supportive environment. While differences of opinion will occur, members are expected to treat each other with the utmost respect and dignity. No question is too basic. We do not allow advertising or forwarded messages from or to other lists. Renal disorders can be complicated and difficult to treat. We are not veterinarians and our site is not a substitute for professional veterinary care. It is a place for getting suggestions for treatment ideas to discuss with your own vet and a place to compare notes on what has worked for others in practice. We encourage you to use the site as a tool as you work alongside your vets in the treatment of your dogs.
K9Kidneys is the original and largest canine kidney support group and is not affiliated with any other groups.

Your application may be denied, if not returned. Check the email account you are applying from frequently for the questionnaire and return it within 7 days.
