KYARWA is a low-volume list designed to increase communication between animal rescue groups and individuals involved with animal rescue in the Kentucky and surrounding states area. This includes the discussion of animal-friendly legislation. This is a place where we can exchange information and ideas freely, keeping in mind that when we help each other, we help the animals.

This must stay LOW VOLUME so all can remain on it. Attachments should be posted from the KYARWA yahoogroups home page under "files" or "photos." Also, you can add yourself or your group to the transporter list under "database." We also encourage you to fill in the general contact info for yourself and your group in the database. No transport messages please. There are other lists for that. Also, no individual animal rescue messages unless it is something that cannot be dealt with by a regular shelter (i.e., a collector situation). Examples of the types of messages allowed and encouraged: conference info, legislative info, information on free stuff for shelters and rescues, grant-related messages, events, information on fundraising, helpful information on general shelter/ rescue operations, etc.
