The L. A. Fish Fanatics is a club now forming to have fun with other local people who are interested in tropical fish. LAFF will be an all-volunteer, non-profit association, registered with the State of California. If it’s wet and fishy, we want to know more about it.
Interests:
Freshwater fish, aquatic invertebrates, plants, ponds, and just about anything aquatic. We have many experts in our club who can answer your questions and help you, even if you've been keeping fish for years.
Club Functions:
-monthly meetings with an educational speaker. Meet and talk to other FF’s.
-Raffle with donated prizes
-Fish & equipment sales
-Get questions answered
-trips to see member’s tanks, commercial aquariums, other fish clubs & other fishy places
Meetings
We will meet once a month in the SFV area with a fishy speaker, Show & Tell and a raffle.
Members can auction extra fish, plants and equipment. Sellers will receive 75% of sales prices with 25% going to LAFF. Buyer pays a 5% overage to LAFF. Proceeds defray club expenses.
Members may check out books, dvds and tapes from our library. Members also bring fish and plants for scoring in the Breeder's Program and Plant Award Program.
