This report on MSNBC is continually being updated this morning. I have contacted my US Rep. and demanded action. The FDA and the suppliers need to be forced to divulge the other manufacturers that could have received the tainted ingredients. After all, their job should be about the public health and not corporate damage control. There were 5 manufacturers. We know of Natural Balance, Blue Buffalo and Royal Canin. Who are the other two?? Seems Diamond Pet Foods might be the fourth. So who is the fifth?
And I am not buying for a second that the melamine in hogs and therefore the human supply is limited and is only of "minimal risk" to cause injury. My ass!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The FDA and Pet Food Manufacturers need to start being pro-active and not just reactive. They don't care how many bodies pile up as long as there is not a "panic"?? The need to name names, ALL OF THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If there was ever a reason to boycott a country, for me this is it.
