Welcome! LouisianaDogCatRescu is a group of animal lovers, those who would like to be a part of helping animals get to the care, homes, and love they need and deserve. We are a vital network of people across Louisiana and other states. Here you may post information about transports for dogs and cats who are needing a ride to a rescue, foster home, or forever home, notices about animals in need of rescue or help, news about animal welfare issues, and links to other resources of information or help. We welcome updates about animals who have been rescued and their new lives (We love those!), or even just a funny story, if you wish. Feel free to share legislative issues, so that we can all be aware of and participate in the needed changes in legal protection of animals.
This group is NOT for individuals to post animals they are choosing to give away - please contact your local humane society for assistance with that.
