The Mason County Animal Shelter is rescue-friendly. We are located in Point Pleasant, WV.

Rescues, please apply for membership in this group and the rescue application will be emailed to you automatically.

The county commissioners have set a limit of 50 dogs and 36 in our shelter at any time, so we need to keep moving animals out to rescues to avoid euthing!

If you wish to rescue from us, please contact us directly via our website:

Please visit the shelter at 1965 Fairground Road in Point Pleasant, WV. We are located off Route 62, three miles north of the last signal light (by Speedway) in Point Pleasant. You will see a sign for the Mason County Fairgrounds on the right signifying Fairground Road. Go down that road and we are approximately 1 mile out on the left.
