Wednesday, June 17 is the
NVCEO Board of Director’s & Quarterly Networking meeting.
The NVCEO Quarterly
Networking Meeting is an opportunity to find out more about the Northern VA
Coalition of Equestrian Organizations and to hear an exciting presentations by
our scheduled guest speaker.

Guest Speaker
o
Our
guest speaker for Wednesday’s Networking meeting is Beth Campbell of
BB&T Commercial Account Insurance Services, specializing in Commercial
Equestrian Insurance.

Beth is
a horse owner residing in
§
Beth
will be discussing insurance needs of the horse owner, commercial equestrian
operations, and insurance products for equine clubs and organizations
·
Final preparations for
the NVCEO/Fairfax 4 Horses “Great Escape” Benefit Event for the Laurel Hill Public Equestrian Center
Building Fund. This event is scheduled for Saturday, June 20
o
There is
still space available for participants/riders for this special event. For
complete details and rider application go to www.NVCEO.org.
Although there is no deadline for applications there will be a deadline
for “pre-registration” announced very soon. Any rider
application received after the deadline will be charged an additional
“late registration surcharge”. Also note: this is not your
typical JPR. Multiple cash prizes of up to $500 will be awarded.

Experienced
JPR judges
§
(No
experience needed) advance trail marking (Thursday, June 18); Judges helpers;
set-up; tear down/clean up; parking; hospitality/welcome; info booth

Event
sponsors are also still needed. This is a benefit event for the
“Laurel Hill Public Equestrian Center Building Fund”.
Sponsorships will go through Fairfax 4 Horses, an IRS 501c3 tax deductible
charitable organization specifically for the “Laurel Hill Public
Equestrian Center Building Fund”. If your business or your employer
can contribute in any dollar amount please have them contact Jimmie Jones at awnman@... or me at jeffshoup@... for complete
details. All event sponsors will be recognized in the event program and
will be given an opportunity to provide their company marketing literature to
the rider packets and the volunteer packets.

revisit of the NVCEO Educational Ride

We will
be discussing suggested changes to this event as recommended by the member
organization Presidents and Leaders at our “Presidents &
Leaders” meeting back in January.

October Election of the NVCEO Executive Committee

Elections
for the 2010 Executive Committee are held in October. The new committee
takes office in January 2010.

We need
your suggestions for the composition of the slate of officers for the October
elections

Update on the NVCEO
Business Membership program

The
NVCEO is funded by businesses who earn their income from or support

Meeting is open to the public and there is no charge to attend for members of

Times:
Social: 7:00pm (NVCEO
will provide soda, coffee and light fare. Although it is not required,
feel free to bring a dish to share)
Business Meeting: 7:30pm,
concluding no later than 9:00pm. Additional social time will follow the
business meeting.
