Hi, I am a local pet sitter/dog walker and was thinking of taking some
of my charges out to the Masterson dog park at some point along with
my own dogs. Everyone is UTD on shots but I don't have handy proof on
some charges. How likely is it that we'll be asked to show proof of
rabies or dhlpp? If I can't present proof can we just leave or will I
be fined or something?

Also, as someone who doesn't use the dog park system, how much problem
would it be to show up with 3 exceptionally well-socialized,
well-mannered dogs, 1 exceptionally well-socialized, very well
trained, very high drive ball fiend (with a supply of tennis balls
and a chuck it), 1 very shy and excitable 11 month old puppy (ball
fiend in training), 1 six month old rescue puppy who needs much recall
work and 1 adult rescue who isn't exactly a perfect doggy citizen but
is not at all hazardous all at once? These dogs all play together
almost every single day. I would be going in the middle of the day on
a weekday. I would assume that that is a fairly quiet time?

Thanks!

Barrie

Barrie, No one is standing at the gate checking tags. It would be best if the dogs are wearing their rabies tags. Their owners should do that anyway. You...
