Friends of the Dog Park would like to invite everyone out to Lexington's 2nd
Sunday Celebration on October 12th, from 2-6pm.
 
What is 2nd Sunday?
Well, Lexington is joining over 60 counties across the state of Kentucky who are
closing roadways to cars so that we can be active, fit and have fun on our own
two feet (or two wheels!). No state has ever done anything like this before so

How do you participate?
Walk or bike down to Limestone Street and enjoy the wide open, quiet streets.
You can start at any point along the route.
Each time you complete one loop along the course you˘ll earn a chance to win a
free bike donated by Pedal the Planet bike shop. Free tune-ups from Schellers
Fitness & Cycling and Pedal Power will also be raffled to participants.
 
And don't forget to include your dog!
Friends of the Dog Park will be hosting a free Bone Hunt on the Upper Courthouse
Plaza at 4:00pm. We will have information on Lexington's dog parks available, as
well as a watering station for the dogs.
