If you are in the San Francisco Bay Area and are able to adopt a baby rat or 2 please let me know ASAP. A local humane society that was already filled with rabbits and other small animals recently received 10 sweet baby rats.
The females are a little shy but especially given their young age, they should become very social within a few days of handling. The boys are fairly social and very playful. After only my second visit, both the male and female babies were already starting to crawl up my arm. I am providing them with my homemade organic rat mix and today I will take some salmon to them.
There are agouti and white hooded, blond/brown and white hooded as well as black and white hooded.
Please contact me ASAP if you can adopt one or more. I may be able to help with transportation.
Thanks!
