Need info on Emerald Transport Company - Please respond ASAP
Need info on Emerald Transport Company: Please send replies directly to idahonc@...
Perhaps someone you know used them. I think they may do cross country transports so please ask this question to your friends and list groups. I need this ASAP, please.
This is what I need to know:
Has anyone used them?
What kind of results did they get?
Were the horses delivered on time and in good condition?
Was the experience a bad one. If so, why?
Details about the experience: "I used them and I will use them again because," or "I used them and will never use them again because."
Anything else you think someone considering using this company should know.
WHAT I DO KNOW
I found their website and did several others who have replied, and thank you all who have.
Emerald Horse Transportation - Nationwide, Enumclaw, WA
More info from the website: Apparently they are new in the business, only since '07, but with 10 years experience with another transport company, and experience in trucking. Their primary vehicle is a 2008 Volvo semi, with a horse van trailer.
Keith is going to Missouri even though they may not be able to pick up Max for a day or so... Susan asked me to ask if anyone near Springfield MO would have a place they could stay for a day or two. They will have a mare with them. His cell is 812-887-5179
After 58 weeks Max has been located because of what is believed to be by Keith to be a Stolen Horse International Flyer!!!!!!!!!!!
Read details and watch as this unfolds at the link above. The recovery is in process as I type. Don't forget to send notes to Keith and Susan!!!
Tell everyone you know the good news by sending them this information!

I have three 2008 colts for sale all by the beautiful Parada Elite,
my Gai Parada son, out of a Khemosabi daughter.
ELITE RAIDER- by my Gai Parada son out of an AM Power Raid daughter,
this beautiful colt has the potential to be ANYTHING! Beautiful dark
bay but will slowly grey out like his sire. Prominent jibbah with
short head and tiny muzzle, with large expressive eyes. Super sweet
disposition and very smart, he will be a quick learner to any
disipline. Performance and halter Champions dominate his pedigree.
Potential herd sire. Sweepstakes Nominated, both parents SCID clear.
A bargain at $2,000. I have more than that in him! Will consider
reasonable offers to a show home.
QALLYS QAUMET-Very loving and personable colt out of a Lewis Payne
bred, Ansata Ibn Halima granddaughter. This colt has his sire's long
well set neck and lovely head. He is greying out fast, already a fawn
color. He is 71.70% Crabbet/Blunt breeding. Easy to train, he
literally sticks his head in the halter when you offer it to him. He
is Sweepstakes Nominated, both parents SCID clear. A steal at $1,500.
OMAR IBN PARADA- This gorgeous bay colt we thought to be grey, but
not too sure now. If he does grey out it will be slowly, and most
likely a dapple like his full sister, who is currently being shown by
a 12 year old. His other sister is a Top five National Sport horse
champion. He will make a top quality Sport Horse, as he is built like
a little powerhouse already. He is out of my foundation mare Abu
Miraah and by Parada Elite, both parents SCID clear. He is 73.20%
Crabbet/Blunt breeding. He has a super special small swirling cowlick
on his temple, sure to bring him the best of Arabic luck! I didn't
have the money to nominate him also and as a result, his price is
only $1,000.

Glad to see you are still with us.... was beginning to wonder if you changed email addy's. Hope you guys missed last weeks ice. We got 5-6 inches of snow... which I have no problems with.... but it is mostly gone now... the only reminants are the pile at the side of the drive created when the driveway was shoveled clear.
If you need someone to help you monitor this group.... I would be happy to help you out in that area.
Hope you, your family & mom are all doing well. It has to be hectic with the kids growing and all that. How well I recall those days myself :-)
Take care, Laurie

Subject: MoFed Alert! Humane Society on the Prowl Again!
MoFed Members and Associates,
Once again, we are receiving reports of humane society investigators inspecting kennels in northern Missouri. The kennels are State and USDA licensed. We are seeing a surge of various animal rights organizations reporting that they are "investigating" breeders, taking photos of their kennels from the road and are posting those images on the internet.
Please be on high alert with your kennels. DO NOT ALLOW ANYONE into your kennels to inspect them other than your state and USDA inspectors.
Remember, the Humane Society of Missouri investigators along with ANY other animal "investigators" have absolutely NO POLICING RIGHTS and cannot enter your property without your permission. DO NOT grant them permission to enter your premises. If they are insistent and tell you they will make it difficult for you or threaten you in any way, PLEASE LET US KNOW.
If they flash a badge at you, remember that they have no authority as a police officer. The badges they flash can be purchased from the internet, inscribed with anything they choose. They have no more authority to come onto your properties and investigate than we do. They are ONLY employees of private associations and are nothing more than that.
DO NOT let them bully you or threaten you in any manner.
If they show up at your door, tell them to leave immediately, that they are trespassing, and if they do not leave immediately, you will call the sheriff's office and report that they are trespassing.
If they bring a deputy with them, even law enforcement cannot enter your property without a legal search warrant.
It would be a good idea for you to call your sheriff and tell him that animal rights activists are once again on the prowl, and remind him that they have no policing rights to enter properties or to do inspections.
The areas we are currently receiving reports about humane society investigators are in the North Central areas of Missouri, in the Kirksville, Milan, Trenton and Chillicothe areas. They are driving a newer white pick-up truck.
HSUS investigators photographing facilities have been reported in the southwestern part of the state, about halfway between Kansas City and Springfield.
Be on the alert; post No Trespassing signs throughout your properties; call your sheriff to report activities are increasing; tell other breeders and horse owners in your area to be on the alert, and call MoFed with reports of animal rights activities.
