Hello Martin,

Not strictly UK I realise but there are enormous numbers of larvae down here in
Guernsey - many Spear Thistle and Creeping Thistle plants are stripped
completely bare - some plants seem to have collapsed into a heap of larvae. I
collected a couple of larvae (to show the grandchildren) about a week ago and
they have already pupated.

The glorious weather continues down here.
