The thing is space. My nephew will be renting a small car to get to Nashville. I don't know if there will be room for 2 goats. I'd like the doeling also with the buck. I know he'll be driving 10 hours to get there. Would there be any way you can meet them. The time frame we have is short as he as to be back home on Sunday. All they are doing is meeting me in Nashville with his daughter so she can spend 2 weeks with me. They do have a return trip 2 weeks after that to pick her up. My sister has dogs and would have a dog crate to put the 2 of them in it. Are they brother and sister, same mom? I'm thinking they are.

On my site look at Twist N Shout and Southern Belle. They are 2nd gen's and the dam to Twist is Sonnett(not a good photo of her but she is the sister to Aurba), Belle's dam is Dixie and she will be the image of her mom. I can trade for them only cause they both have twin sisters. Their moms are not related at all but Gaston is their sire. Gaston's sire is Mr. Sinatra. I have Belle's grand dam and she is my #1 milker.

I do need to know the bloodlines of the dam and sire. Any photo's of the mom's udder would be nice also.

the mother has been tested for all. i have their papers at the house. they have been disbudded. they are both still intact not castrated. we are looking to trade more than sell. we would like a another registered female. as for as his lines all the paperwork is there. they were nursed by their mom. the bloodline is a registered french alpine doe to a registered male nigerian. i really do not know a lot about this whole thing. we are new to the whole registered goat thing. yes i have all the paperwork including their tattoos and the breeders tattoos.

They came through fine. What are their bloodlines and I take it the new owner is to do the registering? Are you wanting to sell one of the bucklings? If so what price? Who bred them and are they free of CAE, Johnnies and abscesses, any sore mouth? Were they disbudded or Polled? Bottle fed or nursed mom? Do you have the paperwork for registration? Them being the first generation, there has to be a copy of both sire and dam's registration papers and a breeding memo which says the breeding date or exposure dates.

Are you close to Hopewell, VA? I may be interested in the two tone buck, not blue eyed. It depends on his lines and if I can coordinate the trip of my nephew and sister to bring him with them in a few weeks. This trip of theirs is not a done deal and I may not know till the last minute if they are coming. They are meeting me in Nashville.

All the better. If I were you, I'd keep them. I take it they are triplets. I have a general rule to not milk a first time doe. I like them to have the first year to learn to be a mom. On my site, Aruba and Montego Bay I milked their first time cause their udders are so nice. They did a great job last year. Not milking them right now but will be weaning their kids soon and I know they'll produce. Hey, how old are they anyway? I have a sister in Hopewell and she may be coming here next month. I take it they are first generation.

Seed me some pics if you can.

What state are you in? The Mini-Alpines are still low in numbers. I'm in TX & I'm the only one the registry has in the state. My 3rd generation was born this past spring and it's not easy finding breeding stock. I have a Sr. 1st gen. buck for sale. My web-site is www.MilkMaidRanch. com and click on Goats. The Nigerians are first but scroll down to the Mini-Alpine' s. The buck is Mr. Sinatra. You can get a good idea of what to expect if your lines are good. On the site the first doe is Aruba(my favorite) and she was bred to Mr. Sinatra two times and the kids are Gaston and Honolulu. They are 2nd gen's. The 3rd's are on the site also but it will give you something to see as the gen's go up.
