This list is for the discussion of the use of the Ecollar and other tools in a balanced training program. Any and all tools and methods can be discussed here but the primary purpose of the group is to discuss the effective, proper and humane use of the Ecollar.

Disagreement with others is welcome as long as it remains polite and professional. If we all agreed on everything there would be little reason for the existence of these lists. While it is understood that discussions about this tool often become heated; name calling, flaming, or abusive posts will not be permitted.

This is NOT the place for a debate about whether the Ecollar is an acceptable tool for training a dog. It is accepted that it is. It's also not the place for a debate about tools or methods based on ideology or ethos. If you advocate the so-called "kinder, gentler methods" used exclusively, go elsewhere. If you use them as part of a balanced training program, you're welcome.
