Come meet the fun loving residents at Mindy's Memory Primate Sanctuary through our monthly online newsletter, Monkey Tales. Currently there are 78 Monkeys residing at Mindy's. They range in age from Beasley, who arrived at only 11 months old in April 2003, to Muggsy, who is over 40 years old, and comes complete with arthritic fingers, age spots, a sagging chin and wrinkles. See what they were and WHO they have become. Some were beloved pets, petstore displays, research subjects and one who was being smuggled into Canada from Moracco. Some arrive as infants needing to be bottle fed, others have never seen the outdoors or another monkey before. Many of these would have been euthanized if it were not for a sanctuary like Mindy's where all will live out the remainder of their lives in peace, just being monkeys.
