The North Carolina Purple Martin Society is a non-profit, all-volunteer conservation organization dedicated to the preservation of the purple martin species through hands-on conservation projects, public education, and scientific research. We are headquartered in Raleigh, North Carolina and welcome members from across the state. Our goal is to work with and educate other purple martin landlords to develop a mentoring program, which will recruit new purple martin enthusiasts, and also includes working with other birding groups in the area. We will also be working with the special needs and youth community to stimulate their interest and mentor them in proper care for the Purple Martin. We are affiliated with the PMCA.
