This group is dedicated to alleviating the plight of individual urban feral pigeons. It is the rescue and rehabilitation center for those who seek information in order to help a pigeon and to network with rehabilitators who can take the bird in for care. We are in NYC but glad to try to help with any kind of bird or animal anywhere.

If you have found a pigeon in distress (injured, orphaned, ill or lost), please join this group or submit a Help! request. Please provide as much info as you can including contact info and location.

Please understand that this is an all-volunteer group. The City has no provision for pigeon care, and housing for recovering birds is very limited, so you may need to care for your rescue yourself, at least until other arrangements can be made.
