"I would say, though, as far as Mr. Booxbaum is concerned, that he does not
approve of natural eared Boxers.
He went out of his way to make a nasty comment to me about the ears, just before
we did the down and back, and then placed us last in the class. "
I find that ironic, because my information that I have on Mr. Booxbaum, came from
the boxer judging list.
I was at a show where Stan Flowers exhibited a all-breed BIS natural eared
boxer, and Everette dean excused it.
For the Natural eared Doberman exhibitors, I would avoid many of the Doberman
breeder judges except for Linda Krukar,Faye strauss and Doug Matson. Faye bred
a natural eared Doberman AKC CH and Doug owns an Import Natural Champion that
holds Championships in AKC and Europe.
As a point of reference, it has been both my experience and observations that as
an exhibitor you want to stir clear of judges that come from "Normally
cropped/docked breeds." The reason being the natural status has become QUITE
contraversal to the point some breeder judges have served AKC suspensions for
their actions.
Again, as a rule avoid breeder judges from Dobermans and Rotts, because of the
contraversy of the "natural" state in those breeds.
Also, there are some deceased judges on the list. For example, E pimlott, and
