Welcome to Nigora_Goat_Notes, the online voice of the American Nigora Goat Breeders Association!

We are the foundation group for those interested in the Nigora goat- a small to medium dual purpose breed (fleece and milk) that produces 3 distinct fiber types. The Nigora stems from Nigerian Dwarf to Angora goat breeding (CAGBA, CAGR, ACAGR Colored Angoras, AAGBA Commerical White, or Navajo). Nigerian or Nigora crossed with PBA Pygora, PCA goat, Color-bred Pygora, PyCazz and Cashgora goats may qualify as "Grade" Nigoras.

If you currently have Nigoras, are thinking of breeding them, or would be interested in getting in on the ground floor/foundation of the ANGBA, then this is the place to be. All Nigerian Dwarf, Angora, and other fiber goat breeders & fanciers are welcome to join; We are open to all goat lovers! :)

Feel free to ask questions and leave comments, peruse the files, links, photos, message board, and more. Connect with others interested in Nigoras, find a breeder, post a goat related ad: Sales, stud service, items wanted or for sale, baby bragging announcements.

The only rules to posting here are 1. Respect (no troll/flaming zone) 2. Love of goats- particularly Nigoras and their parent breeds! 3. No Spam 4. Family friendly content ONLY.

So far there are no restrictions on which days members may post sales. If it gets to be too many then we will have to choose a set day, but for now it's open. We do ask that sales listings are limited to one post per member per week, however, so it won't become a "spam" situation.
