Exclusive farm tour for NHS members and their friends

Have you ever wondered if using “conservation practices” was for you?  I hope you’ll join us on Wednesday evening at Oakwood Farm, the site of the Chesapeake Bay-Friendly Horse Farm Project.  We’re in the process of re-modeling a private farm for the purpose of education, outreach, and inspiration.  We’ve been hard at work tackling mud, manure, and pasture management challenges.  Learn what’s been done so far, why, what’s next, and most importantly what does owner Edith Kennedy, farm owner think of all this “tree hugging?”
