Welcome to the official email list for The International Bengal Cat Society (TIBCS). This list is sanctioned by TIBCS, and therefore all activities on this list must adhere to the policies and guidelines set in place for the governing of the Society to include, but not limited to, the Articles of Incorporation, By-Laws, Code of Ethics and Complaint Process.

The goal of this list is to:

(A) Develop and promote high breeding standards for the Bengal Cat,
(B) Distribute and share information on the Bengal Cat,
(C) Serve as a forum for Bengal Cat owners and encourage cooperation and communication within TIBCS,
(D) Promote cooperation and interaction with other clubs and associations the members may be affiliated with, and
(E) Act as an electronic medium for official TIBCS business to and with the Membership.

Membership to this list is limited to those individuals who are recognized as “members in good standing” as defined by the TIBCS By-Laws. Membership will be verified against the current roles of the Society, and approved by any member of the Executive Board, or other individuals as given rights and permissions to complete this task.

An individual’s membership to this list may be revoked at any time if that person has acted in a manner contrary to the best interests of the Society, the breed, or has violated the Articles of Incorporation, By-Laws, or Code of Ethics of TIBCS. This may or may not be in conjunction with any other actions taken by or brought before TIBCS against the member.

As a TIBCS-sanctioned list, moderation of this list is by the Executive Board, and any individuals appointed by the Board to act in this capacity. The Executive Board holds final discretionary authority on any recommended action by a Moderator to be held against a List Member.
