WELCOME to ORC: 2008 BT Community Champions Award Winners

ORC is a Riding Club with a 'difference'. Non-affiliated, ORC is not too highly competitive, yet still boasts a calendar of competitions, hacks, rallies, demos etc for all standards.

The Club is open to age 15 or over (members between 15 & 18 to be accompanied by an adult). The atmosphere is very friendly; with the Club catering for all levels, incl the nervous. Members meeting regularly for social events at local venues. See Calendar Section for dates (recent popular Quadrille practise is shown in photo.)

This is now an ideal time for members to join, and get maximum value for money out at this recession time, ie half year membership + £5 joining fee.

We welcome young, old, male or female members, and stand out as a Club for those who are looking for hack-associated events.

Even the ‘happy hacker’ has a place in Oswestry Riding Club, giving you the pleasure to have horsey-friends within the Club to ride with on your hack, rather than hacking alone! Plus the added advantage of little-cost to yourself (approx £2 per hack).

Those without transport, also have opportunities to take part in the Club activities, as we try to make our venues ‘hackable’ to many riders.

ORC ensures everyone feels at home with the Club no matter what they wish to do. We have sympathetic instructors and events, so come along and ENJOY!! I guarantee you'll make lots of friends, & boost your confidence at the same time!
