Description
This is a mailing-list for Feline PKD - i.e. PKD in cats.
PKD is an autosomal dominantly inherited genetic disease; "Autosomal Dominant Polycystic Kidney Disease". PKD was initially most easily diagnosed by ultrasound. A DNA-test for PKD/ADPKD in cats is now available!
The PKD-list is an open list for those of us no longer in denial of this disease. It is a list primary for support, information and sharing of experiences, a list for people who share a serious concern for the health of their cats.
The PKD-list was originally opened at another server - on April 30th, 1998.
