I just saw my first case of STARI in a woman who had been in
Tennessee last week. She presented with the classic erythema migrans rash and
an Amblyomma americanum tick. She had researched it on the internet
before going to her doctor, who treated her appropriately. She will now report
the case to the CDC for their research work.

BTW, it was a male tick, indicating that this disease transmits
in less time than Lyme.
