This group is for people who have the common Starling (Sturnus Vulgaris) as pets. It is to discuss the care, feeding, and joy of having one of these birds as a member of your household.
You are welcome if you have a European Starling, or have found a baby or injured one. People who have saved House/English Sparrows are also welcome as well as anyone who is just interested in European Starlings and House Sparrows and as yet does not have one of them at home. Other types of Starling owners or interested parties are welcome into our group as well as other Softbill folk.
The main interest of the group will always be European Starlings but other certainly House Sparrows since most people with a love for Starlings so too love House Sparrows!Other wild birds can be discussed OT: once in a while as well, especially if we as Starling and HoSp owners can relate.
We will respect others' opinions and no member will set her/himself as an authority. We must add that owners/moderators have the right to remove or censor any information that we feel is not appropriate for the group and that includes information on proper care. We also reserve the right to remove or ban any member.Posting pictures of illegal or dubious status is not proper.
Only legally kept birds may be discussed in this group. We do not condone the keeping of illegal birds or Native wild birds without proper permits. Nutrition, care, and other aspects will be discussed. Anyone who tries to flame will be unsubscribed. Please do not spam the group.
