The purpose of this group is to develop and maintain the community that exists between dog owners in the greater Petworth area. PetworthDogs was founded by a group of Ward 4 residents who sought to formalize a dog park in Petworth. Members of this group successfully organized to win approval for a dog park at Upshur Park, scheduled to open in Spring 2010. In addition to sharing general news and information relevant to dogs and dog owners in Petworth, this list will keep the community updated about this first official dog park in Petworth.
