Description

This list (previously BARF-lite) is for those interested in getting their dogs or cats started on the Raw/BARF diet or who are already on it. We have a friendly, relaxed atmosphere here. You won't get chastised for feeding commercial food (well, maybe if it's a really dreadful one like Ol' Roy), cooking for your pet, or grinding RMBs. While we promote raw feeding for our pets, we know there is no "only one right way" of feeding. Food goes in one end and comes out the other. If the part in the middle is happy and healthy, that's what really counts!

Our relationship with pets is more than merely what we feed them, so we also discuss training and health - we take a truly "wholistic" approach to pet ownership. (We have a few fish and ferrets among us, too, not to mention the groups' horse, Danza, [we are not responsible for bills].)

Or you can cook in pressure cooker to soften bones. I would use whole leg quarters as some have bits of organ on them. Where are you I may know of a supplier?

You can go boneless and make a bone broth or use bonemeal. Its the closest thing you can do if you can't grind the bones yourself. That will be affordable. Raw

Keep an eye on it of course. If she was showing signs of kibbke toxins then it could very well be her detoxing. I would bet her stools will have mucus soon. If
